THOUGHTS FOR THURSDAY: Throughts from NCFA for 2010

Since 1980, the National Council for Adoption (NCFA) has served as a strong voice for children, birthparents, and adoptive families. Though NCFA rarely endorses a specific piece of legislation, it often advocates for policies that ensure adoption remains a positive option, and that support and encourage permanency for children. The current issue of the Adoption Advocate includes an overview of current and pending adoption-related legislation, as well as NCFA’s specific policy recommendations on behalf of children and families.

Click HERE and see what they had to say regarding topics such as tax-credit, foster care, birthparents, and intercountry adoption.
